KT Tunstall will perform as part of Burns Night Live and we’re not shy in telling you that there’s nowhere else on earth that celebrates Burns Night quite like we do and for the first time in our history, Burns Night falls on a Friday.
Pushing the way, we celebrate Burns Night to the limits, this year’s show will invite international talent, comedians, celebrity hosts and some of Scotland’s best party animals to the world famous Spiegeltent in the name of Scotland’s Bard.
"KT Tunstall has revealed she hopes to inspire a new generation of females to become rock stars after forming her own all-woman band."Scottish Daily Record
"She came relatively late to success at the age of 27.” “That came with the watercooler moment in 2004, when she appeared on Jools Holland’s Later. Just KT (which is simply short for Katie), a guitar, a tambourine, and her loop pedal – creating the 21st century version of a one-man band. That performance of Black Horse & The Cherry Tree catapulted her to overnight success.” “The album Eye To The Telescope became a multi-platinum seller around the world (over four million copies at the last estimate)."Scots Magazine
"One place where she enjoyed seeing her music appear is in the 2006 film “The Devil Wears Prada” starring Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway. Tunstall’s “Suddenly I See” plays in full at the start of the film, something that Tunstall still has a hard time wrapping her head around today.” “Since then, Tunstall has composed songs strictly for the big screen and put out several more albums."Huffington Post
