•• Comedy Programmer ••

We are looking to expand our Comedy Programme at our 2022 Festival, and we are looking to appoint a Comedy Programmer on a freelance consultancy basis to re-develop our comedy strand in our venues.   This is a freelance role as part of a pilot which we may extend into the future.

COVID might have brought our portfolio of festivals to a standstill, but that hasn’t stopped us dreaming about our future festivals.  As Scotland’s leading Burns Night event, we have developed a huge following for our artistic programmes which run eleven days at the end of January.

Our multi-artform festival blends the hottest musical talent, with comedy, cabaret, theatre, dance and a family street Carnival, which makes it a favourite for visitors and locals.

We are looking for someone who is commercially savvy and has good contacts across UK Comedy Networks.  You will be capable of building on the success of our Comedy Programme which has ran between 2011-2020 and spot opportunities for growth.

Working collaboratively with our team, you will curate six shows at the 2022 festival, and a light-weight feasibility study which offers some critical analysis of current audience segmentation, profile and behavior.

Closing date is Sunday 28th February 2020 at 5pm.
