25/The Decriminalisation Monologues features two short plays written to mark the 25th Anniversary of homosexuality being made legal in Ireland.

In, ‘The Special Friend’ a man from North East England moves to rural Ireland to be with his boyfriend. But it’s the 1980s, and when tragedy strikes, he finds he has very few rights.

In, ‘I Know What You Are’, it’s Dublin in the 1970s, and an ambitious Civil Servant finds her career threatened by blackmail. Should she just submit to it? Or fight back?

Acting Out were winners of the National GALA Award for Irish Arts and Literature 2017.
