The Festival’s Sunday Sessions has grown massively since we first started, and it is our iconic closing party to the festival. This year we have also split the day in two to allow families the time to come and enjoy a second Family Sunday with lots of free entertainment geared towards children, as well as some free entertainment.
In the Festival Hub you’ll find:
Susi Briggs Story-telling
NEST Arts & Crafts
Big Smoke Brass Band
Tams Twin Sister
In the Spiegeltent you’ll find:
Peat & Diesel
Chris James Blues
Headlining the Sunday Sessions are Peat & Diesel, from Stornoway, playing some homemade songs that tell stories in a funny kind of way about the island life. They have just sold out a run of gigs including the Glasgow Barrowlands and we are delighted that they will be closing the Festival in Big Burns Supper style. The show kicks off at 2pm and will be announcing the full line up closer to the event.
Wheelchair access and access tickets come with a free companion ticket.
All ages from 2pm until 7pm. Over 14’s from 7pm onwards. Under 18’s must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 18.
