This free 90 minute masterclass is designed for anyone who is currently preparing for Drama School and who is expected to prepare song for audition.

Chris Fung is a Professional Vocal Coach and Musical Theatre performer from Australia and holds 4 university degrees in Singing, Drama and Performance, and specialises in teaching singing to pre-professionals and true beginners.

Credits include: The King and I (Ensemble and Understudy to the King) Opera Australia and the GFO, Carousel (Heavenly Friend) QCGU, Hair (George Berger) QCGU, The Wishing Well (Victor Kiss) QCGU. He recently also made his UK and National Theatre debut in the ensemble of The Lehman Trilogy.

Chris prides himself on teaching with great clarity and think that all singing technique should come from a simply understood technical base. Learning Singing Technique is all about learning a sequence of lessons that you ingrain into your body over time.

He specialises in a style of music education called Kodaly, and he think’s that both the act of singing, and the thinking that goes behind singing, should be as easy as breathing. Music theory should be simple. He’ll teach you both at the same time.
