Stanley Odd on at 7pm

Stanley Odd make music for people that get tongue-tied talking to girls; clumsy people that dance awkwardly in their bedrooms; people that are generally uncomfortable in social situations; those for whom fashion-sense is an oxymoron; avid readers of science fiction and comic books; girls who drink tonic wine; anyone who prefers literary figures to viewing figures; disciples and architects of counter-culture.

In April 2021 Scottish hip-hop pioneers, Stanley Odd released their brand-new album, STAY ODD: The Magic of Everyday Things.

Somebody once described them as Cerebral Geek Rap.

Another person said that in a sane world they’d be bigger than Snow Patrol.

Stanley Odd aren’t that fussed about what bracket you want to stick them in.

Yoko Pwno on at 9pm

Fronted by the twin fiddles of whisky-fuelled folk maestro Lewis Williamson, classically trained RCS graduate Lissa Robertson, furniture building banjo player Gary Rafferty and physics teaching flautist Helen LeMar, Yoko Pwno deliver an unclassifiable and joyful mash-up of original folk tunes, showstopping vocals and irreverent electronic beats.

The band innovate, flex and mutate traditional Scottish folk roots in a way few are able – at the back of the stage, drummer Ali Hutchison and producer Calum Cummins are equally at home and referencing dance crossover acts like Disclosure and Red Snapper as they are producers like Bonobo, Matthew Herbert and Juan Atkins.  Live on stage they deliver louder than life energy and more than a dash of tongue-in-cheek humour.

The full line up from 3pm to be announced soon.

All ages welcome until 7pm.

From 7pm until 9pm it’s over 16’s only, under 18’s must be accompanied by an adult.

From 9pm onwards it’s over 18’s only.
