•• Visit South Scotland ••

Big Burns Supper Festival runs for 11 days at the end of January in the vibrant capital of South Scotland, Dumfries. The festival takes place in venues, bars, art galleries, museums and includes an 800 capacity Spiegeltent which includes a heady roster of international names taking place.

The line-up includes shows and events for all the family, as well as light installations and music presented in the pubs and taverns.

Due to the ongoing pandemic, we made our 2021 festival an online event. You can check it out here.

The festival is also the birth place of the five star International Cabaret show, Le Haggis ~ which takes centre stage at the festival. The show is described as Scotland’s sexiest show and packs a punch full of Scottish verve and humour.

Le Haggis:

Big Burns Supper is the biggest Burns Night celebration on the planet, and the town is also the final resting place of the national bard, as well as being a living museum to his memory. His favourite pub, The Globe is within walking distance of the Spiegeltent, and the farm that he built is on the outskirts of the town.
