Big Burns Supper is the biggest Burns Night celebration on the planet, and the town of Dumfries is also the final resting place of the national bard, as well as being a living museum to his memory. His favourite pub, The Globe is within walking distance of the town centre, and the farm that he built is on the outskirts of the town.
