As we get ready for the 2025 festival, there are loads of different ways that YOU can take part!
Every Monday and Tuesday between 10am and 2pm and every Wednesday between 5pm and 8pm, at The Press (117 High Street, Dumfries) members of the community gather to help us get the costumes ready for Carnival.
Each week we’ll be working a set of costumes, and our volunteer session leader will give you an introduction to the process, and all the materials and tools you need to make it!
Our volunteer sessions are a great way to meet you new people, and be around other likeminded members of the community for a few hours. Then in January you can come along to Dumfries Carnival and watch your hard work come to life!
