Dumfries Community Choir
Running between 6pm and 8pm every Tuesday at St Georges Church Hall – Dumfries Community Choir is a great way to meet new people, learn something new and leave with your soul feeling full of joy! The choir have been running since 2012 and are well known around the region, performing regularly at festivals across Dumfries, showcasing their alternative song choice from Sam Fender to The Velvet Underground.

Dumfries School of Samba
Running in 117 High Street between 6pm and 8pm every Wednesday, Dumfries School of Samba is a great way to feel the rhythm and get your groove on. You don’t need to be an experienced Samba player – everyone is welcome and this group is perfect for beginners. If you are a keen Samba player, you’re more than welcome to bring along your own drums but if not, we have plenty!

Volunteering Sessions
With only 71 days until Big Burns Supper Festival starts, we have LOTS of volunteering opportunities. In the next week volunteers can pop in at the following times:
Saturday 10am until 2pm and Sunday 10am until 12pm at 70 High Street, Dumfries (the old River Island building)
Monday and Tuesday from 10am until 2pm, and then Tuesday and Wednesday from 5pm until 8pm at 117 High Street, Dumfries.
Volunteering is a great way to get involved in the festival, and to meet new people! Simply pop into one of our sessions and we’ll give you something to do!
