Behind the Burns Mausoleum lies a powerful story that inspired this year’s Burns Light project at St Michael’s Graveyard. This short film offers a closer look at the people, place and ideas that shaped the work — bringing new light to one of Dumfries’ most iconic and atmospheric spaces. Burns Light was made possible with the support of Historic Environment Scotland, EventScotland, Holywood Trust and Dumfries & Galloway Council.
