We are looking for music creators who want to be part of our new project which will explore immersive performance experience right here in Dumfries & Galloway. The finished work will form part of Northern Lights 2026.
You will work alongside our Head of Music (Gary Cameron) who is one of Scotland’s leading composers for stage. You will work collaboratively score a new work which will form part of a soundtrack to an outdoor event which will run in January.

Sessions will take place at our base at 70 High Street, Dumfries and will run from 10am to 4pm each day.
There will be four sessions running in November and you will receive a bursary of £350 to support your participation in the project, or to support out of pocket expenses.
We are offering spaces for 6 talented music producers to come and work with us. You would need to be available on the following dates.

Please note if you are still at school, we are unable to pay a training bursary but we will cover travel expenses.
This opportunity isn’t just for young people, anyone with an interest in music technology or composition.
