If you’re looking for something to do on dull, Tuesday evenings – why not come and join Dumfries Community Choir? Since 2011, the choir has steadily grown into a group of more than 60 members of the community.
The choir is a great way to meet new people, and to look after your health and wellbeing. It’s a great social space, and as well as the weekly rehearsals, the choir regularly do gigs across the region, including some of the most loved festivals in Dumfries and Galloway.
Audiences embrace the choirs alternative song choices, from artists like Sam Ryder to The Velvet Underground with some classic clubland tracks thrown in there.
Earlier on this year, the choir worked to produce a track with Colonel Mustard and the Dijon 5.
