As you may know, Northern Lights & Dumfries Carnival takes place over 5 days in January. We would like to dedicate the opening evening to our local Young People.
Our concept would be to showcase the many talents of the youth musicians and singers in the region, highlighting how valuable Dumfries & Galloway Music Service is to our young people.
We would love if you could please share this opportunity with your highly qualified instrumental instructors, who in turn could encourage their pupils to take to our stage & show what their lessons and hard work have created.
We would welcome soloists or groups of any genre and can offer up to 1 hour each on our community stage. (Please note; our stage will be situated outside at the fountain area on Dumfries High Street, it will be covered/sheltered and can provide power, if required).
Our vision is to fill our opening night, our stage & the town centre with our local talented musical young people.
Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or would like further information. A poster is attached with sign up information, which we hope you will find helpful.
