Le Haggis will be making a January 2023 comeback as one of Scotland’s best loved cabaret experiences as part of the Winter Festival, Big Burns Supper staged in January.
Big Burns Supper is Scotland’s contemporary Burns Night event and in 2020 we staged an online event that was viewed by just under 1 million people worldwide.
As part of our recovery, we are returning to the show that the festival was born out of and presenting it as a major community performance on six dates.
A heady trad soundtrack will be fused with contemporary performances to create a magical theatrical feast to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the show through a collaboration between Ho-Ro, Gary Cameron, and Dumfries Community Choir.
We are seeking a Movement Director with experience of community performance to help us realise the 2023 production.
The show mixes contemporary performance with aerial, circus, cabaret and trad music with smatterings of Scottish banter, so a sense of humour is strongly desired.
