The organisers of the Dumfries & Galloway Carnival are delighted to announce that trader applications are now open for what promises to be one of the most exciting and vibrant events of the winter calendar.
Taking place over three spectacular days from Friday 29th January to Sunday 31st January, the carnival will transform the area into a hub of entertainment, attractions, live performances, delicious food and family fun. Running daily from 12pm, the event is expected to attract thousands of visitors from across Dumfries & Galloway and beyond.
At the heart of the event will be a bustling traders’ village, perfectly positioned amongst the magic of the Northern Lights attraction, live music and stage entertainment, and a diverse selection of food vendors. This prime location offers traders an exceptional opportunity to showcase their products to a large and engaged audience throughout the weekend.
Organisers are inviting applications from local artisans, crafters, makers and independent businesses selling everything from handmade gifts and homeware to artisan food products, soaps, skincare, artwork, jewellery, jams, preserves and unique seasonal products. Located on the first floor of the Supper Club, your pitch will be positioned in the heart of a lively and welcoming trading environment.
“We want to create a vibrant marketplace that celebrates the incredible creativity and entrepreneurial spirit found across our region,” said Kirsty Adamson, Associate Producer. “Whether you’re an established business or a passionate maker looking to reach new customers, this is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a major community event and put your products in front of thousands of potential buyers.”
With a trader pitch fee of just £25 and a refundable £50 deposit, organisers are keen to make the event accessible to businesses of all sizes while ensuring a high-quality experience for visitors and traders alike.
Demand for pitches is expected to be high, and spaces are limited. Interested traders are encouraged to apply early to secure their place at what is set to be one of the most anticipated events of the year.
